48v to 12v DC/DC Converter hum/buzz when turn on new 4 LED light bar
I purchased one madjax 4 led light to put on the front of my cart. Initially installed it across two batteries of the pack. Worked fine, but based on comments on this forum, wanted to hook it up correctly across the entire battery pack instead of just two batteries. Cart has an SPS electronics 48v to 12v dc/dc converter. 12v output supplies a fuse block. There was an open spot on the fuse block, so I connected the led light there and spliced the led negative to the 12v negative of the converter. Now when I switch on the light, there is a hum or buzz coming from the converter. This doesnt seem good. Any ideas on what might be wrong? Should I revert to the original install?
