Default Lester charger

I bought the new summit 2 Lester on board charger with Bluetooth.
Upon using it the first time I noticed all 6 batteries were extremely hot after about 4 hours, anyone else experience this?
Or is it normal?
Thanks

I think that is normal. The charger makes the correction to 36 again while charging and finishes at the correct voltage.
Strange the batteries got hot. What was the starting voltage? Water levels okay?
If it happens again see what the pack voltage is when the batteries are hot.
For reference, the batteries should not get more than 10º above ambient.

The batteries were fully charged before they were removed for the upgrade 5 days prior. I tested the voltage on each one individually as I put them in and they were all around 6.7 volts.
I checked the full pack voltage when they were hot and got 41.8 volts

I suspect one battery was wired incorrectly in the pack.

Only batteries I’ve had get hot during charging are ones that are old and pretty much already dead. How old are your batteries?
