Brakes after lift kit installed
I finally got my 2002 DS running the way I want, but I've noticed that the brakes are almost useless after installing the 6" Jake's lift kit. What have you guys done to correct the poor braking on your lifted carts? Do I need a longer cable or just one of those extension brackets I've seen on Ebay?
Thanks for any help. |

Re: Brakes after lift kit installed
Are you not breaking enough or are they extremely tight? I didn’t have an issue after lifting mine but I have read on hear about flipping the brakes so the cables stay in a closer to stock configuration. I believe typically the problem is that the brake cables get too tight and lock up very easily.

My brakes are barely working. Not locking up.

Re: Brakes after lift kit installed
I would suggest you take a look at your cable routing and adjustment.
