How to drill Jet
I know someone on here must have done it. Should I just take it out and drill one size bigger than its original size? My cart is a 96 G14. I tried to give it more air by unhooking the line that goes from the air box to under drivers seat. All it did is bog out. Figured I needed more fuel. I might as well try drilling it. If I mess it up I will have to buy a jet anyway!

Re: How to drill Jet
I am going to drill mine out . I think the key is to have the right drill bits that are very small ( which I don`t have ). I think they make a bit holder for them that you use by hand. Good luck. The worst thing that can happen is you will have to buy the right one if you mess up.

Re: How to drill Jet
My thoughts exactly!!! I was hoping someone could just tell me what size and cut out the guess work. Also read somewhere about filing it? Don't know what good that would do.

Re: How to drill Jet
TY!! shouldn't you have a good plug reading if it is all stock? So should I unhook the intake hose and then mess with the jet?

Re: How to drill Jet
STT aren't carts jetted rich when they are stock? Sleds all come rich to protect the engine and prevent warranty claims. A bigger jet would need mods to work, right?

Re: How to drill Jet
i feel that most GC's are somewhat lean from the factory do to running at low rpms and trying to reduce exhaust smell.
jus' my two cents |
