The angle of the helix along with the weights in the primary determine how it shifts. If you change it, well you changed it. I did buy a sheave a while back and it was not that expensive btw, the one side, and you can get a cut sheave too.
Problem with 10hp cart motors is you need ALL that 10hp, and if the clutching is off some you will not get it. I'm not sure about the rpm G1s run, I don't recall them running that high. But they will run high when the clutch is all shifted out with no governor. But if they have different weights in the primary the helix can be different as well, depending on how the engineer wanted it to work. |
