Re: How much power?
I also run spacers and recommend the solid aluminum style.

Re: How much power?
I only use solid aluminum type. Personally don't like the stud type. They don't seem like they would take the beating I put my cart through.

Re: How much power?
I can see barreling down my hill and hitting the creek half air borne and breaking a stud. That's probably what would happen with the stud extenders. Don't know and don't want to try. Looks like they would rust and sieze easy too. Just my interpretation. Never owned any.
I would also advise if you get the solid aluminum ones, make sure your tighten them up with either a lock washer or nut with the plastic insert to they don't back off after time. Some have the bowl shape around the stud but most are just flat. More than likely you'll have to buy new chrome wheel nuts if you have nice wheels (I'm sure this post is going to make its way to the gossip section now. LOL!!). The threads on most spacers are different than stock Yamaha axle stud threads. |

Re: How much power?
get 23's they are the same price & will give you a bit more top end
if you have a G22 try the wheels before you get spacers because a spindel lift already gives you alot of offset |

Re: How much power?
No spacers on our G16 with 22's and a 6" Jakes spindle lift.
