No, unfortunately not. The programmer I used was actually just a palm Z22 with IR to tx/rx to the IR receiver that plugs into the cart.

TRANSMITTER UNIT Part number JU2-HA2F0-00-00...but you still need the Genius Software.

Is the software attainable anywhere or from yamaha only for the service centres?

Thanks, Iv got a 40" led light bar hanging from the roof now to help me see on the way home from the golf course club house after dinner.
Yours is what I'm looking to do, bigger wheels but I'm undecided on what tyres to go as most of the bigger tyres are quite aggressive on the tread pattern and i don't think it would be too good for the course plus i have clearance issues with the height of the cart under tree's already, This yammy is taller than every other stock cart iv seen on the course.
14" wheels, 3" lift, back seat, flares and I'm looking to do a roof chop to lower the roof height some, I'm a short arse so i don't need all the excessive internal height.
None of this will happen if i can't at least make it run to its factory max speed at a reasonable cost, if i can't get it faster ill sell it and get something else that will be but i really do wanna keep the drive as there aint as many around here.

Only available to dealers. Never seen it anywhere else. You wont be able to do much with it any way. 14-15 mph max for carts with GE motor & controller. The hitachi/moric system can be boosted to 19mph, but only with a code that is unique to each controller (and only available from dealer). If you want over 20mph (22 with Hitachi motor, 24 with GE), get a Alltrax controller in there.

I need it for some diagnostic stuff also. I have 15 carts so upgrading them all with after market controllers gets expensive.

I'm suprised that with all of today's aftermarket programming that no one has figured out how to hack the PTV upgrade themselves.

If ya wanna "dictionary attack" a 6-digit number (its all numbers 1-9) to find the PTV code, i wouldnt blame you for writing the software. When i mentioned the possibility of such an idea to be achievable while in Yamaha traning, all i got was a smirk (communication is slow, would take a really long time). The diagnostics are fairly useless compared to the Z-1/Z-2 tester. Lots of errors are "Code 99- unidentified error", useless. I never use it for diag, only for speed/regen programming.
