Re: How did I do purchasing this G9?
Do you guys think I would have any trouble towing a field mower with this cart as is? (No Big Block, yet.) The mower is an ATV tow behind style. Is there any specific receiver hitch that works best with a G9? I would like a 2" receiver that I can use different hitches.
Thanks again for all the help so far. |

I think it will be a little hard on the clutch... I think if you're not pulling a 15' batwing you may be fine! It is only 9hp. Not a 9hp that is rated as in tractor hp. Carts are a little softer. Check the site sponsors for a hitch!

You should be fine with that mower, I would just make sure all the engine shrouds are clean/clear of debris and the head cooling fins stay clean and clear of trash. And don't mow for extended periods, give the little guy some cool down time. The stock bumper is not that stout, so do your homework on the hitch.

My stock ez-go pulled a 900+ pound lawn roller around 4 acres in about 4 hours with no breaks and did real well

Re: How did I do purchasing this G9?
Thanks! Is there any chance you have some pictures of the mounting brackets for your roof? I have a roof, but no supports. I was thinking of making some, but I can't find a G9 with a roof to look at. I just need to see how they attach to the cart. No big deal if you don't. The roof will be after a good paint job anyway.
