Which lift kit?
Hey guys just bought a 03 g22 and am working on a buddies 84 G1 cart, I need a couple of lift kits to raise them up. I have seen Jakes and Allsport, I believe and was wondering which kits to use? From what I can see the G22 lift would be dropped spindle kit. Thanx for any help guys. Shad

Re: Which lift kit?
find a sport quad.....cut off front suspension and swap with carts suspension. that way you'll have a real supension ........and front brakes. unless all you want to do is sit higher, you won't ultimately be happy with any suspension that just loweres your spindles. that don't ride very well. especially when you start going faster than stock.

Re: Which lift kit?
We manufacture 2 different style lift kits for the Yamaha G22 a spindle lift (available in 3" & 6"), and we just finished our 4-8" adjustable long travel lift kit for the G22. How do you plan on using your cart? Here is a pic of the new long travel and upper brush guard we just finished and are now in production.

Re: Which lift kit?
I called and left a message today at Jakes. I have a cabin and lot at a small 9 hole course, golf and lots of trails around the course, they are cool with any cart mods as long as your not ripping up the course. Put lots of miles on and around the course, I own a local Yamaha powersports dealership so I must represent. My G1 was the fastest at the yearly drag races but got a good deal on this 03 g22 and its only 20 years newer. I am also looking for ideas for performance gains maybe clutching or governor mods too. Cool site guys thanx for the help. Shad
