Good question, a strap wrench works if you have a large one to get around the clutch/pulley. I always use an impact. If you are replacing then just stick something into the guts of the clutch, since you may not care if something in there gets broken, if you are careful it usually will not. Can use a bar in the flywheel fan but have to take all the shrouding off to get to it.
If its an air impact put a little oil into it in the air supply connector, hook the air back up, make sure your compressor is full and at max air pressure, and try that. The impact should not stall something is wrong with it, if you mean the internal motor in the impact. |
