Question I need Torque

I have an EZ-GO Electric, which I had a lift kit put on recently. I also put on 22" tires on it. The golf cart has speed but I need torque. It will not go up hills. What do I need to do?

Increase Torque by increasing amperage.
The stock controller is limiting how much amperage the motor can access at any given moment. Increase the controller size to allow for more amperage.
Then in crease the solenoid, cable, and F&R capacity to allow increased amperage flow and you will have more hill climbing power.

need more info on cart.

you can increase a little by going to 4ga wires. 4ga wires are needed for any other upgrade. Also if you are running a weak set of batts, thats most of the problem.

agreed with scotty.

Even if we did not need to In fact, need often had nothing to do with it.

I own a battery store and I have brand new batteries, so I know that is not the problem. I have uped all my wires to a 4g wire except for the wires coming from the motor so far. I have a little more power but still wont climb a 3 foot hill. The cart is incredibly fast on top end. I think it would outrun our
48volt club cart on top end, but has no low end powere whatsoever.

The serial # of cart is 791186 and the Manufacture Code is C1194.. I think that is a 94 model.

What gears does it have? Maybe 8:1?

If you are still on the stock controller and solenoid that is the culprit.
