Default Volt Meter Wiring

I have a 2000 series cart came in on the build with my dad mid stream my question is the volt meter, it is the type that has red bars, dont know if it is wired up correctly it shows 1 bar on the full charge side, my thought is it should have a bar all the way across am I wrong or is this this normal or is something wired up wrong, pictures would be appreciatied, never done this before so I need help!!!!

This is a 2000 TXT with a series drive system (F/R lever by right knee). The dash has been modified but the state of charge (SOC) meter is the factory meter that came with the cart. Note that there are 10 segments and when batteries are fully charged only the one at the far right will be illuminated. As the batteries are depleted the bar will go out and the next one to the left will light up and so on. If your cart has an unmolested factory wiring harness the SOC meter will not illuminate unless the key is on and the forward/reverse lever is all the way in forward or reverse. There are many aftermarket versions of this meter and generally speaking they don't have a good reputation for accuracy on this forum and many people will advise you to get a digital meter. However, I have found the "factory" meter to be reasonably accurate when checked against a handheld digital volt meter.
