Re: Need Help Badly!!!
If the brakes are in fact dragging, the rear wheels should get warm after a nice long ride.

Re: Need Help Badly!!!
IS it possible that the throttle "sensor" needs adjusting? Like its for some reason only telling the controller its at 50 percent when you actually have it floored?

With rear wheels off ground, measure from B- to Pin-1 on controller. When solenoid fist clicks, the voltage should be 0.4V to 0.6V. With pedal on floor, voltage should be 1.5V to 1.7V While you are in the vicinity, what is the voltage on Pin-3 (Orange wire) when F/R is in F? Should be Zero. (That is the pin that tells controller to run half speed) If the ITS voltage in Pin-1 is normal and voltage on Pin-3 is -0- unless F/R is in reverse, measure between B- and M- terminals on controller. Should read battery pack voltage when solenoid clicks and decrease to nearly zero when pedal is on floor. B- to M- is directly across the MOSFETs, which are the transistors that actually control the amount of current flowing through the motor. If you don't read within 0.05 of the battery pack voltage when the solenoid first clicks, there is excessive resistance in a cable, connection or component in the high current circuit. The fully turned on voltage (Pedal on floor) will vary a bit depending on the amount of current flow through the MOSFETs, but even with 300 Amps flowing, it shouldn't be more than about 0.3V. |

Assuming its ITS, There is an easy way to adjust, using a drill bit, as described in the stickies' manuals.
