Default 01 clubcar starter problem

After taking my lifted 01 clubcar mudding for a while I will stop for awhile and sometimes it seems like the battery is dead becausewhen I go to start it the starter will not crank or it will hesitate I had figured the battery was not charging but after testing the battery it's fine even when I put a load to and I even replaced the voltage regulator the battery is obviously charging because I tested my lights horn and my winch when this problem occurs but I may be wrong could some one please help it would be appreciated because this problem is Realy getting old it happens to me all the time ps I did not test any thing with a meter yet I just checked the battery with a battery tester that puts a load on the battery but it may not be enough of a load to tell I Realy have no clue help would truly be apreciated
