Jig saw worked best for me. Mine is variable speed and that feature came in handy. As stated, fine tooth, (metal), blade works best.

I ended up borrowing a dremel, I will get some pics of the finished product. May just try the blow torch idea, or maybe a plasma cutter!

I used my jigsaw. the plastic is flimsy, so whatever gets the job done.

My lil Coping saw worked perfect, drilled the corners and saw done the rest..

can you put a level across the line and score it with a box cutter a few times? That should make a clean cut.

Invest in a Dremmel man - I know you think you'll only need it for this, but once you have it you use it often

agree about the Dremmel...once you buy one, you will find a lot of uses for it.
