Can you post a picture of it? I haven't seen an LSV in a few years. Not since they did the Tax Credit for buyers in 2009 I believe it was. I'm not sure if it's unchanged or not. I also have never seen one with 12" rims. What is the tire size?

I have 12" Low Profile tires. The cart comes with 10" tires.

Nice... You may be able to benefit from a high speed magnet in the motor. That is unless they've changed to an Excel style controller instead of the IQ based controller they used before. Do you know what kind of controller is on it? If I knew that information I could help you further.

I haven't looked to see what kind of controller it has. I'll have to get under the cart to find out.
Here's the link to the Club Car spec page...

Our villager 2+2 LSV goes 25mph or slightly faster on flat ground and 27mph down hills.

The cart is rated at 25mph. I had the dealer look at it, but only getting 22-23mph. It's still under warranty so I don't want to mess the re-programming or replacing anything yet...

If I were you, I would not modify the cart in any manner. Club Car needs to make it go 25hp as advertised, regardless of battery condition. have you checked speed with a GPS? Maybe digital speedo is wrong with tire/wheel change.

JerryK ...how did you resolve your problem of not hitting 25 mph?

We have two Clubcar LSV's. Neither will hold 25mph consistantly. Sometimes it goes 30MPH downhill, which can be frightning with four people on board. Definately goes 10 or less up steep hills. It's the nature of the beast.

Battery performance will change with temperature, state of charge and life of batteries. When the batteries are new, fully charged and the temperature is nearest 77F, your speed will be most consistant and nearest 25mph.
