Noice on axle
My cart makes a grinding sound and feels like the axle is spinning on the rear hub.
Is a TXT 36V 1999 model and I don't have the manuals. Is there anything in particular that I should be aware of? Or is it a matter of replacing the axle and retainers? Also, I noticed that the bushings on the leaves are gone... Any other consideration or reference so that I can order the parts, will be greatly appreciated. |

Re: Noice on axle
Not sure, but it sounds like you might be describing an outer bearing? Does the sound change when you turn?

Re: Noice on axle
Also could be brake hubs. Put the cart on jack stands, put it in F and touch the gas a few times, DO NOT HOLD IT, see if you still hear the noise. If so probably axle bearings like scottyb said, if not, probably a brake hub.
