Default Charging a 6 or 8 volt battery

Hey again folks ...

Do I need a specific battery charger for a 6v or 8v battery or can I use a 12v?

Probably a silly question but...I am better asking rather than assuming.

THANKS !!!

Shawn

You have to have the correct voltage. I have seen many that would let you switch between 6 and 12 but never 8.

Yeah, you've gotta have the same charger as the battery voltage you're charging.
