Little to no spark
I have a 1992 club car with an FE290 engine, i have replaced the coil [new] , plug cap,set the air gap to .012, tried 2 new plugs . ohmed 2 different igniters, one check good and the other bad, neither igniter made a differance, disconected the kill circuit, grounded the igniter cases and conected straight to coil with new wire. All i can get is a little spark cranking with the starter with a screw in the end of coil wire and rake it across the metal of the engine.
I do not have the rpm limiter at all, Will this keep it from sparking? Any help would be Great!! Thanks James |

Re: Little to no spark
Is there a good charge in the battery? If the battery is low it might take everything it has to roll the engine and not have enough energy left for the ignition system.
Also, check all the wires and connectors out for corrosion or bad spots. |
