Default No Spark

I have a 2003 DS and am getting no spark. A few months ago it was spitting and sputtering all the time and I replaced the ignition coil and wire and that fixed the problem. Now there is no spitting and sputtering it just will not fire. It is turning over just won't ignite. I read the posts about disconnecting the brown RPM wire and tried that or I think I disconnected the correct wire. Where is it so I can make sure it is the correct one? Could the ignition coil be bad again that fast? Is there something that causes them to go bad that can be fixed?
