Re: Range Reduction with PQ motor ?
Impressive. My batteries are 2011 US batteries (4) 12v. After going about 5 miles I'm usually running around 75-80%. I just received a digital voltmeter to install this weekend so I can track my batteries status better.

Re: Range Reduction with PQ motor ?
Another good app is Ulysse Speedometer. The free one. It works off the gps in your phone and displays an analogue and digital speed-o, it shows average speed and max speed, heading, trip time and miles. But like anything else that uses your GPS it can be a battery hog but I love it

Re: Range Reduction with PQ motor ?
I put Trojan T-875s in mine back in the fall. I was disappointed to begin with due to my speed and run times not being what I thought they should. I had the cart in North Alabama at that time. Upon taking it to the beach for the spring and summer, my speed and run times increased greatly. This is probably due to the level terrain at the beach, but it could also be because the batteries had gotten broken in or maybe both.

Re: Range Reduction with PQ motor ?
On my phone I can go to the app store icon open and do a search for ulysse speedometer or do search for speedometer and it should be one of the selections.

Re: Range Reduction with PQ motor ?
Based on the feedback from Plum Quick, with a good pack I would see very little range reduction....10% maximum with the executioner.
I think I'm going to go with the Executioner motor instead of the Bandit. At some point I will get the 500 Amp programmable controller along with it. I can always dial back the Executioner motor if needed via the controller but cant add speed to the Bandit. Plus I can keep my stock motor to put back in the cart if I ever sell it. |
