You have a bad resistor (I would try another one) or there is something drawing power. Disconnect the M- cable and see if the resistor get hot?

Just disconnected M- and yes, the resistor still got instantly hot.

Update...... I double, triple checked everything was wired right last night before going and getting a new solenoid and resistor..... I did find that the only thing I do not have wired is the golf carts inter-lock wires at the charger cable. I YOu think its the inter-lock???? DOes a 95 medalist have a interlock, just curious on your thoughts before I buy a new resistor that ohm'd out fine

problems having......
- when batteries connected resistor gets hot - when charger is plugged in resistor gets hot with the key switch off - when charger is plugged in resistor is normal temp with key switch on - tested solenoid, read 112 - tested batteries, read 42.6!!! - tested resistor read 228 spm alltrax 300 amp controller gets 4 green blinks, then 1 green and 4 reds |
