I tried everything that was suggested, the pack voltage will only come up to 50.2 volts. I am going to assume at this point that I have 4 bad batteries.

I would sheck to see what the finish voltage is when the charger shuts off.
If your meter has a min/max setting you can set it to record the max voltage. If not, let the charger finish it's cycle then unplug the charger from the cart then plug it back in. It should charge for a few minutes. Watch your pack voltage and see where the charger shuts off. US battery's have a different charging profile than most and require a higher finish voltage that is just above 60V for a 48V pack. From what I have read most OEM chargers are set to about 57V which is for trojan that most of the carts come from the factory with. Here's a TSB from US battery's explaining this- http://www.usbattery.com/usb_images/...09_04_2012.pdf This might explain Your 50.2V pack reading but still does not explain Your short run time as it should be longer even at 80-90% charged. |
