Power cuts when taking foot off gas
Just bought a 95 ez-go electric and have no problems except at speed when I take my foot off the gas the cart loses power. I come to a stop, turn the key off and on, and it runs perfectly. I can hear the solenoid click, but nothing happens until the cart is turned off and on. This doesn't happen every time, but enough to make it inconvenient, and worrying.

Re: Power cuts when taking foot off gas
You may have a bad controller. Turning the key off resets it.
What type drive system? (Series or DCS) |

It has the Series drive. I spoke with the party I bought it from and he said it only happened to him in cold weather, never in the summer.

Re: Power cuts when taking foot off gas
Only in the winter. Could be a battery issue, they have less storage capacity when cold, so the voltage drop is greater under the same load.
What is the pack voltage dropping to under load? |
