If the 36V battery pack just came off charge, you may read up to the highest voltage reached at the end of the charge cycle.
Typically around 45V for a 36V pack fresh off charge and settles down to about 38.2V around after several hours.

During normal operation, the voltage should not routinely drop below 31.5V (1.75VPC X 18 cells)
The absolute minimum is 27.0V (1.50VPC X 18 cells)

k Thanks it would bounce down too around 31 on a short hill and fast takeoff but would come back up around 35-36 so I will just let it ride ....
