Re: Something is slipping
that's a little less than 70% so they need charged......what does the voltage drop to under load ? Try leaving volt meter hooked up so you can see it while driving , then try the slow take off and then the fast one to see if its dropping out on you......also may want to test batteries individually to see if all are low or maybe just one is the culprit.....

Re: Something is slipping
Budule is correct, also check the wires and make sure they're in good shape with a solid connection.

Batteries tested individually was reading 8.3 volts. Haven't done the load test yet, will try that tomorrow |

Re: Something is slipping
how old are they?....and you said the pack was 49.3 but if each battery is 8.3 then that would be 49.8 , which is a little better, 77% maybe.... they may be close to needing replaced ....but if they hold under load then you cold still use them I would think.....load test will tell the tale....

Off load was 49.3 Earlier someone told me to jack cart up and hold one tire, I did that and the other tire spun. Swap to the other side and held tire and the other one Turned. I'm not sure what that tells me as I stated earlier. But trying to give you all the test I was told to do. Thanks for all of your help. |

Re: Something is slipping
Well that's not exactly what he said, ------ there is nothing in the rear end that can be slipping, it's all gear to gear

Re: Something is slipping
I would like to test that motor, I would take it off and look at it to see if anything is obvious. Burnt rubber smell could be a hint of the issue. I'd investigate at the source of the sound first, can't hurt, just labor.
JMO I'm not a cart expert, just my thought. |

I left the volt meter hooked up and drove it. That where I got the load test from. |
