Default Re: Melex 112 No power

wired it as you stated..got 36v at the solenoid and 36v at both the charging lugs. where I only had 29 at the solenoid before.. drove it. unfortunately stillhave 3 dead batteries in it because I forgot to bring charger home from campground will get that this weekend.. found the motor tag on it.. pic sucks but it looks like 2800 rpms.... Is there any way to put a 36v motor on it that's quicker than this on that you know of.....cost prolly is unrealistic?

Hopefully its better when I get it charged... thx again for the help. will keep u posted

Your cart is a series motor cart with 19 splines. Good to know if a buddy has one or something cheap pops up in cincy!
You can buy a higher rpm motor, you can add another battery within string or you can go solid state controller upgrade.
Add another battery= charging one battery separate or a 42v charger; probably not realistic.

Go Solid State with a controller and motor and pot box guess 800-1000

Finally- upgrade solenoid, controller, motor, pot box, batteries, charger for 48v system 1200-1400 guesstimate. In this case for batteries you could just buy two more and have 8-6's to get 48v but fitting them in will be chore.

If it were me I would play with the 112 have fun and ride it. If you want to go crazy pick a big three cart where options are abundant.
