Clubcar 1520-5501 controller
Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has had much to do with the Villager 6 with the 1520-5501 controller. The cart hadn’t been used for a while so new batteries were installed. The cart drives okay as long as you dont push the throttle to hard, if you do it cuts out, which would normally indicate battery however they are fine. Even driving slowly the motor cables seem to heat up and there is slight smell as if something is hot. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated. Thanks |

A complete new cable set will help out. Possibly going to 2ga to prepare for any future upgrades. Heat is energy that should be used for driving

Heat indicates resistance. There is a bad cable or connection somewhere.
