Easiest Way to Install Audible Turn Signals
I already have turn signals in my 2017 CC Precedent but I can't hear or see them from inside the cab so, of course, I'm always getting stopped to remind me that my blinker is on!
What is the best and easiest way to solve this issue? Please, be specific as I need pictures and step by step directions to do anything. Thanks! |

Re: Easiest Way to Install Audible Turn Signals
You can get something off of amazon with the wiring diagram for under $20 or you can have someone ride in the back and slap you on the side of your head you left your signal on! lolllllll

http://www.turnalarm.com/. This may help you. They come in 2 or 3 prong. Not sure what you have on your cart.

Re: Easiest Way to Install Audible Turn Signals
I bought this from Amazon and it simply replaces the existing flasher. It makes a beeping noise like when a truck is backing up - not obnoxious but noticeable as a reminder to turn them off.

Re: Easiest Way to Install Audible Turn Signals
An additional thing to remember with the audible flasher is that there is two different kinds. One for LED blinkers and one for incandescent bulbs.

Re: Easiest Way to Install Audible Turn Signals
Thanks for all the suggestions.
Umm... can anyone help a less-than-skilled golf cart mechanic (me) to show me exactly how to install a flasher? Where is it located and how do I access it? |

Re: Easiest Way to Install Audible Turn Signals
Remove the dash panel which has the key and light switch. Follow the wire harness from the turn signal arm and right as it goes behind the panel there is a pigtail with the flasher attached. Unplug the old flasher and plug in the new. Reassemble in reverse order. One other thing, put run/tow switch in tow and remove neg battery lead.

Can't find the flasher still...
We've taken off the dash and don't see anything that looks like a flasher. The closest thing is the backup module that plugs in with the two red wires.
Are we missing something or is the flasher installed in the turn signal unit on the steering wheel perhaps? I saw somewhere you can wire something up using the backup signal? How does that work? Thanks, all. |
