You can try this temporarily as I did. I liked it so much I still use it but have switched from rubber bands to o-rings.

Don't you have a group of wires coming down the steering column from the turn signal arm? I don't see it in the photo.

Those are the wires from the turn signal in the steering column. What is the black box thing that's attached there? Is that the flasher perhaps?

As you can see, I can't get my cart back on the road until this mystery is solved. LOL

Sadly, it appears you have a turn signal kit that uses your black plastic "control box" to operate the flashing logic...instead of a conventional round automotive type flasher.

You might consider determining who the manufacturer of your turn signal kit is in an effort to see if a conventional flasher kit is available.

Just get 2 buzzers and hook one to each side. Little overkill but would work..

Connect one buzzer to the right turn signal wire and the other to the left.

...and he means the front turn signal wires or the buzzers will go off when you press the brake.

You can also use a single buzzer and two diodes.
