06 Club Car Electric power but won’t go
Full charge backed out of garage just fine
Then when switched to forward it feels like it tries to move but stops. Same thing when switch to reverse. Tries to move but stops. Replaced FNR switch, key switch, OBC and MCOR last year. Where do I start to look? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Check your solenoid and verify it is closing in. It does not sound like it is and you are only feeling the initial discharge of the capacitors.

Sorry, I didn't mention the batteries were replaced last July. Before the other electrical items mentioned were replaced.

Re: 06 Club Car Electric power but won’t go
The 2006 probably has an AMD motor with the top hat speed sensor. Pull it off and check to see if the magnet is in broken and multiple pieces. I have found them in as many as six pieces all clinging to the 1/4-20 bolt holding it in. The cart still saw a very confusing speed signal and would run intermittently. I have replaced a half dozen crumbled magnets with strange symptoms, running sometimes and sometimes not. Easy to check. If it is a GE motor, there is different procedure on it, so be careful and look it up beforehand and I have not found a broken one on the GE.

Re: 06 Club Car Electric power but won’t go
Did you verify the solenoid activation and current going thru it?
