That thing is mint...ish. Seats are easy, you can get cover sets on ebay inexpensively, and repainting is easy too, of course. Just do the prep. You'll need some battery cables too, which you can either make yourself or order to length. This is the fun part!

Judging by the v Glide it is an early 1995. What is the serial number? Does it have the controller?
Serial number is A9513-429442

As a a newbie I have to ask " the Controller"

Also I willo be looking for a wiring diagram, as some of the ones in there have been "cut" off and and I need to know how to put them back correctly.

Your wiring diagram will be the third diagram down on the first page of diagrams in the "Stickies" for Electric Club Car. Please note the OBC (On Board Computer) has already been removed from your cart. You will need to buy a smart charger and make some small wiring changes from the diagram.

At least I think it has been removed. Can you get us a photo of the driver's side under the seat?

Build it - I’m hunting with older cart that has same issues - trying to make it through the season on old batteries - and yours is a 48V setup

The black pie shaped box with the tiny resistors. It is connected to your "GO PEDAL." This is your throttle.

Definitely rebuild it. It's in amazing condition for its age.
I've read in other posts that the most recommended lift kits are currently on 6-8 week back order due to the effects of Covid19. Depending upon the size of the wheels and tires you may be able to use the cart while you're waiting for the lift kit to arrive.
