Rear axle bearings on club car ds
Hello all. My 2001 cc ds has been making a clicking/popping noise coming from the rear end. I'm about 90% sure it is the rear axle bearings after seeing quite a bit of wobble in the back wheels. I have not taking anything apart or even looked at it yet and thought I would talk to y'all first to see if their is any advice or helpful thoughts before I tackle this what seems like a small job. Another question I have is, is there an inner and outer bearing or is there just one bearing on each axle? Like I said I haven't seen or taken it apart or looked yet but see mixed reports on this from other sites. Thanks in advance.

Re: Rear axle bearings on club car ds
That is a Graziano differential. You have one on the outter side of each axle tube behind the brake assembly. The other(s) are on the inside of the differential casing and are not serviceable unless removed and disassembled (pretty sure that is not your problem).
Remove the wheels and brakes and do a thorough inspection. |
