Default Alltrax FNKS DIY Switch - No User 2?

Having a little issue with my DIY Alltrax FNKS switch and hoping somebody can tell me what I’m missing. I built it per PDF I found on here and have made sure all the J4, J5, and J6 pins are in the molex per the drawing and have verified continuity from the molex to the switch to make sure all my connections are good. When hooked up, I have also verified voltage to each wire and am getting correct voltage to the switch as I change positions on the switch. The problem I have, is that when hooked up, I can’t get user 2 to work. User 1 works fine in one position, normal works fine, but user two will not work. Below are screenshots of the monitoring tab as I change positions on the switch. I was originally using a key switch, but changed to a rocker style switch just to make sure it wasn’t the switch. I even went as far as making a whole new cable with another switch just to test and see if that was the issue but had the same results. I do see a change in the monitor tab in all 3 positions, it’s just isn’t working for user 2 and has me completely stumped. Any insight would be appreciated as I’m not sure what to try next.

This is the switch I’m currently trying

That new switch will not work since it is just "momentary".

Make sure the old (better) switch was wired correctly.

This post has the correct wiring info for two switches, your original key switch is the bottom link:

You also said FNKS switch, that is not correct as the DIY wiring is just for the "Dual Switch (default)" mode.

I was hoping you would chime in. I linked the wrong switch in my original post, it just looks the same. I'll revert back to the old switch once I get it working.

I think you solved it though and I feel like and idiot for doing all that other stuff when it was simple as having the wrong switch selected in the tool kit. I'll try when I get home, but I think you saved some of my hair from falling out.

This is the actual switch I tried second.

I like the key lock switch myself, and yes that "disconnected" message under "User1 Input" is a sign the Controller is set for FNKS switch mode.

I was just going to swap the wires on the switch to get it how I wanted it...once I have it working correctly.

Are You sure, I built a few different interfaces to that molex connector and it was right.

Looking at their diagram the top box with the switch box user 1 goes to pin 11. In the text box legend below it user 1 is listed as pin 4. Doesn’t really matter but one is wrong.

Got it, you were referring to the controller 16-pin connector and not the new 3-pin user personality connector.
