Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
I looked at is as best as I could. Im almost positive I have all the controller wires correct but some of the going from solenoid to other places are different. I supplied a picture in the first post to show where they are going and what they are connected to. Does it look right? Is there a way to test the drive side solenoid? Could it be as easy as replacing it if all the other wires are in there right places?

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Once I put them back the other solenoid would click again when turning the key.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Look at the diagram. The way this system works both solenoids must activate for the cart to run. If the passenger side activates and not the other, the cart will run (poorly) through the coil (missing on yours). Putting the cables on one post bypasses the second solenoid.

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
Ok will do. Thanks for all the great input. Should the passenger side be clicking when the key is turned? When the key is off the large terminals show 48v on the passenger solenoid. When I turn it on it drops to 0.

I honestly can't remember if that particular system kicks the solenoid on briefly by the key in a sort of "system check" or something. It should not engage to run until you press the Go Pedal. |

Re: 97 club carb solenoid wiring
In the diagram it shows the green wire going directly from the further terminal on passenger side solenoid to the key switch.
