Default 2016 Carryall 700 Lifted Mod Job - Pre-Build Planning

Hello,

I have recently been gifted a Carryall 700. It is running and needs some standard maintenance which I am already in the process of performing. Since this cart was given to me my idea is to make it a lifted 4 passenger (possibly 6 in the future) and start adding additional accessories and other modifications as time goes on. Here is what I want to do initially and any advice would be very much appreciated.

1. Add Jake's six inch lift kit, replace shocks, and bushings. Upgrade wheels and tires.

2. Move front seat back towards rear to add legroom. Easy drill and re-bolt.

3. Replace all eight 6v batteries with four 12v batteries to create space in the undercarriage.

4. Cut a section in the middle of the aluminum frame box, build a floor board, and add an additional second row front facing seat.

5. Add diamond plating to the outside of the vehicle. Add custom trimming.

6. Add golf bag holder to the rear of the vehicle.

7. Add solar charging to the vehicle.

8. Motor replacement possibly. Would rather do a conversion kit in the future.

Question:
I am not sure if I need to extend the brake lines or do a full replacement on those as well. There are brakes on all four wheels. Brakes seem kind of shot. Advice here would be appreciated.

Like I mentioned any other advice/thoughts/etc etc would be great! Thanks in advance!

Most would not want to go from 8x6v's to 4x12v;s as you lose a lot of amp-hour capacity.

I personally do not like spindle lifts and you will find that with the vast majority of people. Suspension lifts (Double A-arm) are much better. Not sure how that plays with your 4-way brakes.

You probably have a 400a controller and upgrade motor as that cart is usually know as a Powerdrive Plus (IQ Plus) and has the 8x6v's, 400a controller an upgraded HO motor because it is designed for higher capacity hauling.
