Keep in mind if your cart is stock and is going to remain stock, then there is no need to go to #4 cable. Just replace everything with whatever is there.

Heck-I don't even need new cables but I want to make a set after watching the video. MAKE THAT VIDIO A STICKY there have been many different ways shown in the forum but this is a snap for us cavemen!!

I have been mechanicing for 50 years and have never seen a system like that. I love it!! What was the brand name of the system and where did you get it?? Turned the big 70 yesterday.

It is hard being a 18 year old in a 70 year old body

I got the rear and side Lexan enclosure finished last night. Turned out pretty well. I,ll post a picture later. It should stop some of the chilly winds we have here and all the Vinyl enclosures I have seen were ugly. My '92 looks very similar to the cart in your avatar except for the color.

I am now impatiently waiting for the brown truck to bring my Alltrax AXE 4844 and Discount Tire to get in my 20"X10"X8" tires.

gark,

The big advantage to using welding cable rather than the hardware store stuff is flexibility. Welding cable has hundreds of tiny copper strands and the hardware store has a few heavy strands. It would be much harder to install the stiff stuff.

The weld wire seems to make a much better solder connection due to the number of smaller wires. It also appears to have a much tougher rubber coating.
