New to wiring
I have 2006 E-Z-Go PDS that I am adding lights and turn signal kit to but I am stuck with what wires I connect from each light to the turn signal kit.
Please help trying to make sure I have the halloween ride ready to go. Thanks in advance for all your help. |

Re: New to wiring
The Light kit is the cut recessed light kit part 15709 with chrome turn signal kit 0704 8 wire conection. I did get directions on both kits but I dont know how to handle light conection issue with turn signal kit.
For example left front turn signal wire is yellow but what wire should I connect it to from the light fixture? Also will I have to splice the wires? |

Re: New to wiring
1. How many wires come out of each headlight assembly?
2. Are there taillights? How many wires come out of each taillight assembly? |

The tailights are the same, except for the fact that they only have 1 ground wire. This is OK because both circuits (running/turn-stop) have combined their 2 grounds within the fixture and a single ground wire is left. Attach the grounds from across the cart and then run to the same 12v negative connection. Each hot wire pairs up with the same wire from the other side of the cart, and that wire pairs up with the supply hot wire for each circuit. With what I have told you and the instructions, you should be able to extend the wire colors yourself. Yes, you will be splicing, connecting, crimping, and taping. The good news is, if you have a convenient 12v source (automotive battery charger?) you could make all the connections first and bench-prove the system before you install it. Just mark all your connections with tape (on each side of each splice!). |

Re: New to wiring
Okay, I am understanding a little better. So with the wire colors the front red wires I would connect the turn signal wire to. The back wire I am going to have to cut and splice into is the red as well? The negative (white wire) is already ran to go to the negative on battery.
