I am running the exact system you are alking about, 48v 500 amp altrax controler and the emp 2 speed motor. I ran the stock motor on that set up for 3 months with no problem and just changed out the motor for more speed I amd getting upper 30s . you need to doubble your budget. new set of batteries $700 controler $450 new motor $450 new charger $400 and then the small stuff wires solenoid ect. I am in the Village area if yoou want to check it out.

So is your cart(motor) series or shunt wound ?

Don't send me just one component. Send me the whole package for my 07 PDS and I'll post the results! I'll even send the stuff back to you if it doesn't work out well for me.



Do I have the Shunt or the Series on my stock PDS?

Your PDS is a shunt (sepex) system.
