driven clutch for 96 EZGO
I need a driven clutch for my 96 EZGO. I have an 84 2-cycle. Can I use the 84 2-cycle clutch on my 96 TXT?

I have one........ used. But I am sure others may also. Please check their prices first and the rest of the world before deciding to buy. Be advised that used is used and may not reflect actual new item ....comparative price warning #10105 |

Well, the clutch is for an old EZGO I am trying to revive. I rehab golf carts as a hobby. I am going to put this thing in a 96 almost junk EZGO. Lol!

Re: driven clutch for 96 EZGO
There is a reason why you can never find a good used 4 cycle driven ezgo clutch....
Oh. The reason is that they have replaceable wear buttons in them...... but they function way beyond the point where the buttons wear out and then they wear the ramps out and people still run em some more so you never get to take one off and say oh, this is still good. They always need replacement or rebuilding in my experience......? |

Re: driven clutch for 96 EZGO
Actually, I can get a brand new driven clutch assy for $130. Clutch cam (spring seat on Yamahas) and spring for $ 35. Plus shipping of probably US$30. But as I said, I just wanted to make an old ezgo run which has been in hibernation for 3 years under the sun.
And thanks for the advice. |
