Actually it is 12 inch square plastic panels that snap together. I got them from Costco.com
and they work great

Then it's meant to be

One thing that was great is that I did not have to empty the garage for a few days while I cleaned and painted the floor. Just work out a good starting point and begin snapping panels together, no waiting for anything to dry, when you get to your beer fridge slide it out of the way put down the tile and put the fridge back.

BTW: Once I need to replace my batteries I figure on going to 48v since by then the controller and motor I go with will handle it so why not.

I apologize for us hijacking your thread! I read somewhere that someone used the black roofing paper and used waterproof tape at the seams under their's to help with the crackle noise and it helped a bit.

Don't blame you! I can't hardly wait to do the motor so I can crank the controller up to 500amps. 48 volts is awesome!

I know I need a 48 volt charger but here is my question/ can i just get a 48 volt charger for this cart and put my plug on the charger without having to change the receptacle? Any advice would be greatly appreciated..
What motor did you start out with? Thinking of doing mine, I have the factory EZ-GO HI- Speed 36volt motor and wondering if that will work?

Can you tell me the numbers on your hi speed motor? I have a motor that I've been told could be a hi-speed, but have never been able to confirm. Mine says:

Advanced DC Motors Inc.
BD5-4001A
36v Class H s/n 4849
Rating AU2500
