Default 96 Yamaha G19E 48v problems

I have a 96 G19E that runs good, but sometimes it won`t go! Then it will go again! Can the tow/run switch be eliminated to see if its the problem? I replaced the solenoid and batteries earlier this year! Any ideas of anything else to test? Thanks for all your help!
