Default 99 Elec. TXT will not move

Did not know have any info or manuals on cart. Put S/N in ez go site and told me it was a 99 TXT. Customer was driving stopped and would not move again. He charged all batteries(has 6-6volt, so seems like 36 volt system?) and cleaned/tightened terminals. Each battery has 6.2-6.3 volts, checked the power at solenoid and had 36 on both sides-does not seem correct to me, but not sure. Checked the on/off switch-good. Removed the rubber mat and checked the micro switch for gas pedal-good. Don't know what to do now! Makes no buzzes or anything. By the way think this site is awesome, have found a lot of good info here-thanks

check the stickies at the top of this forum for manuals. 95 on up carts are pretty much wired all the same, depending on which operating system you have. you tell that from ribs chart. welcome.

Looked at ruredy schematics on (Basic Ezgo electric golf cart wiring and manuals) and this seems to be a Non-DCS Golf Cart controller. The only thing that I noticed was the diode between the 2 small posts on the solenoid did not have continuity like the one on the large posts did-should it or not? I sure appreciate all the help

The diode is a one way valve.
Does the solenoid click when you try to go? What is the pack voltage now?

Voltage on solenoid did not change when pedal was pressed nor does solenoid click and reverse buzzer is silent. What do you mean by one way valve?

A diode only lets current flow in one direction.

Go here > http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...ll-not-go.html

And follow the solenoid activation chart I posted. Let us know where the trail peters out

Sounds like you need a crash course in electricity. Go to the sticky's and find the troubleshooting procedures. Follow them all, and if you have any problems or need some help, ask. It pays to write down all your readings so that you can be ready when members ask you some in depth questions to help you find the problem.
