Default Windshield ????

Comparing the '94 metal bodied TXT and '96 plastic bodied TXT windshields....is there a difference?

I went to mount the windshield to the wife's '94 and it seems about 1" to wide. Then I notice the top frame does not have the spacers at the mount points that my '96 does.

I could use some width measurements and mounting pics for the '94.

Measure the frame width at the top and bottom. I was not aware of a narrower medalist frame? Maybe you are just missing the spacers.... I have seen a lug nut used for spacer if you don't have them.

Missing 2 half inch spacers could do it

Yep....in checking, the two spacers were no where around. Just happened to have some cut for other projects.....10 min. fix. Also was missing the two bottom bolts in the front frame. That will keep wifey happy. Now to get the cold weather canopy repaired and she will be good to go.
