rooster?
Hey guys! just wanted to give ya a heads up on how my project went.
My trip to burning man this year with my cart turned out well but i did have some small issues that i am currently working out but i wanted to show ya a pic of my cart out on the playa lighted up and all done and i wanted to thank everyone that helped me out with my issues. and one during the day with me and my wife on it |

that horse was something like 60 feet tall if i remember right and had a bar on the inside, they burned it thursday night during the event lol

I know a couple guys who go down there every year -- they own a machine shop. Last year they built a "tent" from blue tarps --- it was like a giant (maybe 40' diameter) umbrella. Plant the middle post in an anchored socket, crank the "slider" up the center post and it spread the sides up just like an umbrella. Down, it looked like a teepee.
Another year they built a Pegasus about 15' tall out of scrap steel -- with a propane burner that shot flames along the wings and out the mouth! Very intense visually, and a nice place to warm up on cold nights. They've also got a "drum car" ... basically an open frame with multiple seating levels and drums/percussion instruments built in and added on. Very basic but very cool, too. |
