Has anyone tried a Gummy Bear? I figure, smash them in place and then let harden in the Sun.

This could also serve two purposes. If it breaks on the trail, you won't go hungry.

or even better gummy worms. You could braid them for strength but you don't want them to dry you need to keep them flexible like BRAND NEW MOTOR MOUNTS

OK guys that's enough fun at my expense! lol. you probably are all right, but I will try it and let you know how it turns out. and I don't plan on being miles away from home while trying it.

You know we are just picking at you. Give it a shot but don't hope for too much. Like these guys said the new mounts aren't that expensive and are worth replacing. It would actually be quicker to replace than repair. I hope it all turns out OK

Please do! We would all be ecstatic to be proven wrong! We like to save $ just as much as anyone else does --- and if you can show us a cheaper way of doing something that proves to be just as good as the "old" way we will all celebrate with you!

BTW, what kind of stuff are you using?
