Good one Mike. Now we have to figure out what it takes to keep an *8* running! No one has found that secret yet! Sometime you'll have to try something other than bubblegum! That way you might be able to walk at the same time you're preparing your "fix".

I'm living proof!! theres no glue, or tape, or wire, loose links of chain, gummy bears, or JB weld on mine! Its been running perfect except for a loose solenoid nut and loose starter belt for 2 and a half yrs. and well over 3000 mi.!! Thats a G8 for ya!!

But I AM, living proof, that I, CANNOT walk and chew gum at the same time, Troub!!

I imagine me and Caj. are in the same snow shoes on that one, tho!

Jean, all in good fun! Hope your enjoying a good laugh!! This Yamaha group is pretty close, and its often, a hard hitting free for all!!

Like Mike says -- if we are making jokes with you that pretty much means you're accepted! it's a good thing. Among the Yamaha owners the G9 owners are about the cream of the crop; then comes thd G2s, followed by the G8s. Then the rest of 'em.
Much further down the hierarchy you'll find the "other" brands, those people who either can't afford a Yamaha or don't understand enough to know what's what! And at the bottom of each group, but stil a step up from the group below, are the electric versions of each model -- the "sparkies".
Anyway, it appears Mike has got this one right (it rarely happens, but sometimes he gets lucky!) ... we Yamahamers are a good bunch who enjoy a good time. Lots of good info and experiences shared here ... and when talking about carts in general and Yamahas specifically, even the G8ers sometimes tell the truth! Except when they are harassing their "betters" (G9 owners) or lying about their own carts.
