Tie rod seized
I recently purchased an 04' Club Car DS to convert to a hunting vehicle. I'm in the process of installing a 6" a-arm lift. I'm aligning the front, because of a significant drivers side toe in. The tie rod nuts will not budge. Any one have any tricks here? Is there a method to get more torque with my wrench? Thanks!

Tie rod ends have different thread directions. One has a left hand thread, and the other has a right hand thread. Look at the threads closely on the tire rod end you are having difficulty with and determine the direction for loosening the jam nut. I use a pipe wrench to hold the tire rod. It should not be that overly tight. You might be turning it the wrong direction because of the opposite thread design (tightening it vs. loosening it). Hit it with some PB Blaster anti-seize spray, let it soak in, then try again.

Great advice! Thank you. I tried your first suggestion and it reinforced my thought of the seize because it still will not budge. Going to try the spray you recommended. Thanks again.

You can also rattle the rod-ends and nuts with an air-hammer(careful not to squash them).I work in a suspension-shop and we rattle everything,and they come apart easily,And I live in the "Salt-Belt",everything here is rusted solid!!!Hope this helps.

In addition to what was said above, let them soak in PB or liquid wrench. Then, take a small hammer and "tap" the wrench in the direction it needs to go. Doesn't have to be hard, sometime the light impact can break them loose.

Not sure if it will be the same as my '96, but the right-hand(standard) threaded end of the tie rod will be indicated by a groove about 1/2" from the end, where as the left-hand end will NOT have a groove on it. Check that out first..

Great recommendations fellas. I'm starting to realize just how much of a novice I am. The PB spray worked. Now, do I come off a bit with the nut, then turn the actual tie rod end to shorten the overall length?

The opposite way you turned the nut will shorten it.

Gotta loosen both nuts (doesn't sound right) on both tie rod ends. Then turn the tie rod.
