Default Removing floor mat on 95 CC DS??

Really silly question, but how the heck do you pull the floor mat off around the pedals?? Do you have to completely remove the pedal assembly from underneath, or am I stuck cutting slits in the mat?

Mines actually in pretty good shape, I just want to pressure wash the whole stripped down cart. Maybe it's easier just to pull it up and wash underneath?

Well if you read this thread , tahoedawg tells me how to INSTALL the mat without removing the pedals so I guess you could reverse it.....but unless your putting in a new one I wouldn't .....

O does the mat have adhesive? Or is it tight? Does it wiggle? How did the instructions say to install it?

No glue , this is according to TahoeDawg

Use a large screwdriver to help wrap it. A small one will tear the mat. Once you've wrapped it around the accel pedal, slowly slide it down until it's underneath it. Rotate mat 45 degrees clockwise and sit it down. You're done. I guess I need to video this and post it. It may be a while before I can get a chance though. DS cars are a rarity these days.
I did this but I only used a little WD40 on the pedals and I got it pretty hot with a hair dryer to get it over the pedals.....

Why not a clean cut and use a good adhesive on the seam?
