Default solenoid burn out

1994 club car 36 volt , replaced solinoide under the f & r switch , new one burned out a few days later , batteries will not take a charge with out this noid thanks

to BGW

make sure you are using a 36v solenoid, NOT a 12v automotive solenoid

solenoid has nothing to do with charging of your cart

Wel - it shouldn't but lord only knows how some of these old CCs are wired up

definately 36 volt , old & new one got hot enough to distort melt , i think to many people have worked on this cart , thanks

im not familiar with all the different wiring on carts & most shops are expensive
